Los Angeles Lakers Fall Behind in Series
The Denver Nuggets defeated the Los Angeles Lakers 119-108 on Saturday to take a 2-1 lead in their Western Conference semifinals series.
The Lakers led by six points heading into the fourth quarter, but the Nuggets went on a 10-0 run to take the lead for good. Nikola Jokic led the way for Denver with 30 points and 12 rebounds, while Jamal Murray added 21 points. LeBron James led the Lakers with 28 points, but he struggled with his shot, going just 10-of-24 from the field.
The Nuggets are now one win away from advancing to the Western Conference finals. Game 4 of the series will be played on Monday.
